Meraki is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to support the development and operation of our Kubernetes-based platform in regulated environments. You will collaborate with senior engineers to improve reliability, scalability, and compliance across the platform.

This remote role involves hands-on work, building infrastructure for production operations, and contributing to health and performance improvements.

Qualifications

4–6 years in SRE/DevOps or platform engineering roles.
Hands-on Kubernetes in production environments.
Experience with IaC (Terraform) and scripting (Python/Go).
Familiar with monitoring/observability (Prometheus/Grafana).
On-call rotations and incident response experience.

Responsibilities

Contribute to design, implementation, and operation of Kubernetes platforms in FedRAMP High/IL5 environments.
Support reliability and performance of platform services, including monitoring and alerts.
Automate tooling to improve operational efficiency.
Define and track SLIs/SLOs and error budgets with peers.
Assist audits, compliance, and continuous monitoring.
Contribute to infrastructure as code and CI/CD improvements.
Collaborate with Security, Platform, and Application teams to deliver capabilities.
Participate in on-call rotations to handle customer requests and paging alerts.
