Job summary

Machine Learning Technologies, LLC is seeking a skilled Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join our Austin-based team. You will own infrastructure management, deployment automation, and observability to ensure high availability and scalable services.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with AWS infrastructure and cloud services.
• Experience with GAIA and GKP infrastructure.
• Experience with monitoring, alerting, logging, and telemetry implementation.
• Proficiency in Python, Bash, or Shell scripting.
• Strong troubleshooting across infrastructure, networking, and application environments.
• Knowledge of IaC tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or equivalent.
• Understanding of high availability, disaster recovery, scalability, and fault-tolerant design.

Responsibilities

• Infrastructure management: design, deploy, and maintain AWS/GAIA/GKP infra for high availability.
• Deployment and release management: automate pipelines, support releases, manage rollbacks.
• Monitoring and observability: configure dashboards, alerts, logging, telemetry.
• Site Reliability Engineering: define SLIs, SLOs, and SLAs to improve reliability.
• Incident management: respond to incidents, perform RCA, implement preventive measures.
• Automation and tooling: develop scripts to reduce manual tasks.
• Performance and capacity management: monitor resources and optimize costs.
• Infrastructure as Code: automate provisioning with Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.
• Security and compliance: implement security best practices and access controls.
• Collaboration: work with dev/ops/platform teams to improve reliability.
• Documentation: maintain runbooks and incident reports.
