Job summary

Capgemini is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to build and operate reliable, scalable services across our platform. This role blends DevOps, SRE, and software engineering to improve system reliability, automate operations, and support high-availability production environments.

The ideal candidate will collaborate with engineering, platform, and product teams to embed reliability from design through production, driving observability, incident response, and capacity planning at scale.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Site Reliability Engineer or related role.
• Experience building and automating containerized and cloud-based platforms.
• Strong automation and coding skills (Python).
• Experience with Kubernetes-based workloads and on-prem services.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and operate resilient, scalable systems using DevOps, SRE, and software development best practices.
• Deliver high-availability services through automation and IaC.
• Improve monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability for distributed systems.
• Support CI/CD automation, deployment workflows, and production tooling.
• Drive incident response, RCA, and recovery improvements to minimize downtime.
• Partner with engineering to embed reliability into SDLC.
• Automate provisioning, configuration, and self-healing across cloud/on-prem.
• Validate resiliency and performance via testing and capacity planning.
