Job summary

Capgemini is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to design, build, and operate resilient, scalable systems across cloud and on-prem environments. The role emphasizes DevOps, automation, and reliability engineering to support high-availability production services.

You will work with Kubernetes, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), and IaC tools like Terraform and CloudFormation, while enhancing monitoring with Datadog, Splunk, and Grafana. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is key.

Qualifications

Demonstrated experience in Site Reliability Engineering to improve stability and uptime.
Experience with containerized workloads and Kubernetes for on-prem and cloud.
Automation, observability, and proactive reliability engineering practices.
Proficient in monitoring, logging, and observability across distributed systems.
Familiarity with CI/CD, incident management, and capacity planning.

Responsibilities

Design, build and operate resilient, scalable systems with DevOps and SRE practices.
Deliver high-availability services via automation and IaC.
Improve monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability for distributed systems.
Support CI/CD automation, deployment workflows, production tooling.
Lead incident response, root cause analysis, and recovery improvements.
Partner with engineers to embed reliability into the SDLC.
Automate provisioning, configuration, and self-healing across environments.
Validate resiliency and performance via testing and chaos engineering.
