Job summary

Matlen Silver is seeking an experienced SRE – Observability for a contract-to-hire role in Suwanee, GA. You will deploy telemetry agents and help build our observability stack across facility endpoints.

You will work on Kubernetes on-prem, IaC automation, and collaborate with platform teams to ship telemetry from OT and facility systems. The role requires 5+ years in SRE/DevOps and hands-on experience with Grafana stacks.

Qualifications

5+ years in SRE, DevOps, platform, or infrastructure roles.
Experience deploying telemetry/collection agents at scale.
Experience running Kubernetes on-premises (bare metal or VMware).
Solid IaC and automation skills with scripting language.

Responsibilities

Deploy and manage telemetry agents across facility endpoints.
Build and maintain configuration pipelines for agent telemetry.
Define metrics, logs, and traces captured by agents with stakeholders.
Operate Grafana observability stack: Loki, Mimir, Tempo, Grafana dashboards/alerts.
Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and IaC automation for field deployments.
Support Kubernetes clusters on bare metal/VMware; transition to Harvester.
Bring telemetry from OT and facility systems into the platform over local networks.
