Sr. Technical Service Specialist (East Coast)

Locations include Chicago, IL; Columbus, OH; Indianapolis, IN; New Jersey; New York, NY. The position is based in the East Coast region.

Position Title:

Sr. Technical Service Specialist (East Coast)

Responsibilities:
  • Own a territory to ensure the proper operation of our technologies.
  • Respond to and assist with machine troubleshooting.
  • Provide on-site support, repairs, installations, and maintenance with urgency.
  • Prioritize activities and build a culture of execution, becoming a trusted partner for customers and colleagues.
  • Work with the clinical team to stay updated on clinical knowledge and customer needs.
  • Maintain documentation and ensure all service events are recorded properly.
  • Manage tools calibration and spare parts inventory.
  • Visit customers to meet their needs, maintain relations, and manage expectations.
  • Develop schedules for preventive maintenance.
  • Coordinate with team members to ensure service during holidays.
Must Have:
  • Bachelor’s Degree with at least 4 years’ experience, or an Associate Degree with 6 years’ experience, or a Vocational/Trade certificate with 8 years’ experience.
  • Driver’s License.
Nice to Have:
  • Ability to interpret service manuals and follow specifications.
  • Knowledge of dialysis equipment, including hemodialysis and renal therapy devices.
  • Experience in servicing dialysis devices and working in nephrology clinics.
  • Expertise in water treatment and reverse osmosis for dialysis.
  • Familiarity with Service Max, SAP, or similar tools.
  • Willingness to travel up to 60% domestically.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft tools.
  • Experience diagnosing and repairing electronic and electro-mechanical equipment in a customer-facing role.
  • Positive, proactive attitude, strong customer service skills, reliability, and good communication skills.
  • Critical thinking, resourcefulness, self-motivation, and independence.
