Talascend is currently seeking a Senior Technical Recruiter for an opportunity in Chicago, IL

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead intake meetings with Hiring Managers and provide consultative guidance on market trends, hiring strategy, and process optimization.
• Develop customized search strategies, including targeted candidate profiles, job postings, and social media campaigns.
• Manage 15–25 active requisitions, driving proactive sourcing and candidate engagement efforts.
• Share best practices, tools, and methodologies with the Talent Acquisition team to enhance recruiting efficiency and innovation.
• Expand and diversify the candidate pipeline by sourcing directly, networking, and partnering with diversity and niche professional organizations.
• Stay current on Grainger’s compensation structure, benefits, and incentive plans to effectively communicate value propositions to candidates.
• Negotiate competitive and compelling offers to secure top talent.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum of 5 years full-cycle recruitment experience, with a focus on technical roles.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Proficient in sourcing strategies including LinkedIn Recruiter, social media, and diversity-focused outreach.
• Familiar with local employment laws and compliance best practices.
• Proven ability to influence and advise hiring managers using data and market intelligence.
• Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (SuccessFactors preferred) and standard desktop applications.
