Description:
The Product Management Sr. Manager position exists to successfully execute products and initiatives while providing coaching, growth opportunities, and leadership for the Enterprise Product Acceleration Product Management practice. You will provide guidance and direction to product teams and direct reports on planning and execution of products, technical and functional standards and practices, processes and procedures, and career development. Additionally, you will participate in annual budgeting, capital processes, and quality improvement activities for the organization.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of IT or Digital Product Management, IT or Digital Project Management, Business Analysis, or similar full SDLC experience, including a minimum of 5 years in a Product Manager role and 3 years translating business needs and requirements into IT or Digital Products.
- 5+ years of deep knowledge of information technology principles, Agile development methodologies, and familiarity with Cloud platforms, applications, software products, or design tools.
- 5+ years of experience in handling customer expectations and relationship building.
Product Management Responsibilities
- Define product strategy, vision, and manage the product backlog.
- Utilize customer feedback, market analysis, and data to inform product decisions and strategy.
- Establish and monitor metrics to measure success and inform strategic decisions.
- Engage with current and potential customers to understand their needs and habits.
- Participate in build-test-learn activities to validate assumptions and product directions.
- Break down complex problems into manageable tasks, prioritize backlogs, and manage product development cycles.
- Ensure effective communication with stakeholders and manage development standards for quality and clarity.
- Coach and mentor team members and cross-functional teams in collaboration, research, testing, measurement, and rollout processes.
Customer Relationship Management
- Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to ensure expectations are met during project execution.
- Identify and resolve challenges or roadblocks to achieve product goals.
- Develop services and SLAs, educate leadership on service processes, and continually improve related workflows.
