Job Title: Senior Product Marketing Manager – InRiver PIM

Position Type: Long-term contract ongoing, with potential for conversion when headcount becomes available

Location: 100% remote

The (Senior) Product Marketer, PIM is a subject matter expert in PIM solutions, specifically InRiver PIM. This role involves becoming the expert in how this tool should be used by client companies' brands to create excellent end-customer experiences via D2C and Omnichannel platforms, in sync with related tools such as DAM, MDM, and eMerchandising tools. The person will leverage their expertise, combined with business and marketing acumen, to be the "face" of these tools to business audiences. They will own the Go-to-Market Training & Activation plan and ensure strategic usage and adoption of these tools are successful.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Become an expert in InRiver PIM and/or similar tools.
  • Own the global activation strategy for PIM to ensure end-users are trained and equipped to use these tools effectively to drive growth through smart merchandising and content campaigns.
  • Identify all tasks needed for brands to configure a best-in-class eCommerce website using these tools.
  • Develop training materials and lead sessions to facilitate setup and maintenance of these tools for brand teams.
  • Collaborate with digital, product, and eCommerce teams to serve as the expert for these tools.
  • Explain how to drive business growth through strategic use of these tools.
  • Document activation playbooks at enterprise and market levels to leverage capabilities for KPI improvements.
  • Lead meetings and brainstorming sessions focused on results.
  • Prioritize requirements and ideas from various brands to identify impactful initiatives.
  • Work collaboratively across teams within the organization.
  • Anticipate future needs related to AI, automation, and personalization, and inform product roadmap and tooling strategies.

Needed Skills:

  • Hands-on experience with PIM and eMerchandising tools for D2C websites, preferably with InRiver PIM and Fredhopper.
  • Experience managing global data sets and stakeholders.
  • Background in Digital Product & eCommerce.
  • Proactive, action-oriented, with an owner mentality.
  • Excellent relationship-building skills with brands and stakeholders.
  • Strong presentation skills, capable of creating and delivering compelling presentations to diverse audiences.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical features into business benefits.
  • Vocal, assertive, confident, organized, problem solver, analytical thinker.
  • Deep understanding of software features and functionalities, translating them into business advantages for global brands.
  • Comfortable working in a complex matrix environment.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10+ years’ experience in eCommerce Business Management, Product Management, or Product Marketing, ideally a combination.
  • Expertise in PIM and related systems.
  • Experience overseeing complex, multi-workstream products and solutions.
