Job summary

CoorsTek is seeking a Senior CNC Team Lead to manage daily operations in a dynamic manufacturing setting. You will lead a team working on complex multi-axis CNC equipment while ensuring production quality and schedules are met.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of hands-on CNC experience and preferred leadership experience. The role offers a variety of benefits, including health insurance, 401(k), and generous parental leave.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2+ years of hands-on CNC machining experience required.
  • 4+ years of combined CNC and manufacturing leadership experience preferred.
  • Experience with multi-axis CNC equipment strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and direct operators working on complex, multi‑axis CNC machinery.
  • Ensure production schedules are met with a focus on quality and on‑time delivery.
  • Communicate staffing needs, production challenges, and KPI performance to leadership.
  • Monitor and track production data and escalate issues as needed.
  • Train, coach, and develop team members on processes, procedures, and safety standards.

Skills

Strong knowledge of CNC machining processes and troubleshooting
Ability to read and follow inspection and customer specifications
Experience with lean manufacturing, TPM, and 6S principles
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Teams, etc.)
Solid problem‑solving and analytical skills
Strong leadership, coaching, and conflict resolution abilities
Attention to detail and strong communication skills
Intermediate math skills (fractions, decimals, percentages, etc.)
Ability to work effectively with diverse teams

Sr. Team Lead

Seeking a Senior CNC Team Lead to oversee daily operations in a high‑performance manufacturing environment. The role combines hands‑on CNC work with leadership, coaching, and performance management of a team operating complex, multi‑axis CNC equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and direct operators working on complex, multi‑axis CNC machinery
  • Ensure production schedules are met with a focus on quality and on‑time delivery
  • Communicate staffing needs, production challenges, and KPI performance to leadership
  • Monitor and track production data (workflow, scrap, efficiency) and escalate issues as needed
  • Partner with production planning to manage workflow and scheduling
  • Train, coach, and develop team members on processes, procedures, and safety standards
  • Conduct performance feedback, time approvals, and support hiring/disciplinary processes
  • Perform hands‑on CNC setup and operation as needed
  • Conduct in‑process inspections and adjust machines or elevate issues when necessary
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and maintain a clean, safe work environment
  • Follow all PPE and safety requirements
Required Qualifications

Target Hiring Range

25.65 - 31.00 (Actual compensation is commensurate with experience, skills and education).
