Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Windows and Linux servers.
• Support virtualization platforms (VMware, OpenStack, Hyper-V).
• Automate system administration and deployment tasks.
• Patching, security hardening, and configuration management.
• Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, and user access.
• Support network infrastructure and troubleshoot connectivity.
• Design and implement new infrastructure capabilities.
• Maintain uptime, performance and operational readiness.

This role will support both Windows and Linux environments, maintain critical infrastructure, automate administration tasks, and ensure secure, reliable operations across development and operational systems.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Windows and Linux server environments
• Support virtualization platforms including OpenStack, VMware, and Hyper-V
• Automate system administration, deployment, and maintenance activities using scripting and automation tools
• Perform system patching, security hardening, and configuration management
• Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, and user access
• Support network infrastructure and troubleshoot connectivity issues
• Design and implement new infrastructure capabilities
• Maintain system uptime, performance, and operational readiness
• Work within Agile/Scrum teams supporting mission-critical programs

Must Have

• Active Top Secret Clearance with ability to obtain and maintain SCI
• Active DoD 8570 Certification (Security+, CISSP, etc.)
• 3+ years of IT Administration experience
• Experience supporting Windows 11 and Windows Server 2022
• Experience supporting Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)
• Experience with Active Directory and Group Policy
• Experience with IT security hardening and compliance
• Experience managing virtualization platforms (VMware, OpenStack, Hyper-V)
• Scripting experience with Bash, PowerShell, Python, or similar
