Job summary

Reflexive Concepts, LLC is seeking a skilled Senior Systems Engineer to join our team and help secure DoD-scale systems. You will leverage advanced systems engineering principles to assess defenses and resilience and to guide critical acquisitions.

In this role you will perform cybersecurity assessments of large-scale DoD systems, lead vulnerability evaluations, verify security requirements, and mentor a technical team while partnering with customers to strengthen mission success.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 years of Systems Engineering experience.
• Active TS/SCI with Full-Scope Polygraph (CI within 6 years).
• Zero Trust experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform cybersecurity assessments of large-scale DoD systems, leveraging an OCO mindset to perform DCO activities.

Reflexive Concepts is seeking a skilled Senior Systems Engineer to join our team!

In This Role You Will

• Perform cybersecurity assessments of large-scale DoD systems, utilizing an OCO (Offensive Cyber Operations) mindset to perform DCO (Defensive Cyber Operations) activities.
• Perform long-term, in-depth vulnerability assessments leveraging systems engineering principles and knowledge, utilizing any available information, including architecture diagrams, build specifications, design documentation, and systems architecture.
• Perform independent verification & validation of security requirements and capabilities, incorporating systems resiliency and security engineering concepts into acquisition documents (e.g., Performance Work Statements).
• Perform technical evaluations of contractor proposals for systems resiliency, security, and cybersecurity considerations.
• As a technical leader, Sr. Systems Engineers will report to you directly; ensure they are fully utilized, their best skillset is being used, and encourage them to exceed technical performance expectations. Participate in building a strong team with depth in the systems engineering process and how it can be utilized in different areas within the mission space.
• Leverage your interpersonal skills to foster relationship development with our customers to gain additional insights, information, and documentation to improve our ability to accomplish our mission.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 12 years of Systems Engineering experience
• High School Diploma + 12 years of Systems Engineering experience; a relevant Bachelor's degree in a STEM field + 8 years of Systems Engineering experience; or a relevant Master's degree in a STEM field + 6 years of Systems Engineering experience
• Relevant BS degree in a STEM field
• Active TS/SCI with Full-Scope Polygraph (CI within 6 years)
• Zero Trust experience

Desired Qualifications

• Cybersecurity certification (Sec+, CISSP, CEH, etc.)
• Familiarity with NIST SP 800-160
• Familiarity with INCOSE-defined life cycle systems engineering processes
• Experience with / knowledge of large-scale DoD systems
