Job summary

Reflexive Concepts, LLC seeks a Systems Engineer I to support a closed multi-location Linux environment, automate tasks, and ensure STE/STN compliance. You will document configurations and collaborate with stakeholders across Capabilities and Operations. Strong scripting and Docker/K8s tooling experience are valued.

The role requires a TS/SCI + FS poly, a related degree, and extensive experience in similar roles. On-site Maryland location, with strict security requirements and mission impact.

Qualifications

• Must be able to use Linux CLI and tools to administer Linux systems.
• Experience developing automation scripts (Bash/Python) for ops tasks.
• Understand STE/STN security compliance requirements and enforce policies.
• Familiar with Cisco switch configurations.
• Experience with containerization technologies (Docker/Podman/containerd).
• Create and maintain clear, accessible technical documentation.

Reflexive Concepts is seeking a skilled Systems Engineer I to join our team!

In this role, you will collaborate closely with customer stakeholders to support a closed system that spans multiple locations across Capabilities and Operations. The work centers on administering and automating Linux systems, keeping them aligned with the Agency's STE/STN security compliance requirements, and maintaining clear technical documentation for the environment.

Qualifications:

• Active TS/SCI + FS Polygraph
• Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus seven (7) years of experience as a Systems Engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity
• Five (5) years of additional Systems Engineering experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.

• Demonstrated experience administering Linux systems

• Familiar with basic Cisco switch configuration
• Familiar with containerization technologies such as Docker, Podman, and containerd
• Experience with creating, maintaining, and updating clear, accurate, and accessible technical documentation
