Job summary

Pentangle Tech Services | P5 Group is seeking an ervaren Engineer to contribute to the application algorithm team, focusing on ECU controls for body and engine domains. You will work on the development of control algorithms and participate in HIL testing.

Collaboration with safety engineers and cross-functional teams is expected. You will utilize Matlab/Simulink, CAN tools, and ICD documentation while shaping system-level requirements, designs, and documentation to support compliance and vehicle

Qualifications

• Experience in embedded software development for control systems.
• Ability to write and review system and subsystem specs.
• Exposure to vehicle networks (CAN) and ICDs.

Job description

• This position is part of Application algorithm team developing Controls and Software logic for ECU applications including Body Controls and Engine Controls.
• The Engineer will also have exposure to or participate in the development of closed loop vehicle HIL system that is a critical tool in controls development and test.
• Development of control algorithms utilizing embedded software development process
• Define CAN system requirements and interface specifications
• Develop vehicle topology / network architecture
• Develop Interface Control Documents (ICDs)
• Write and/or review system and subsystem specifications and requirements from vehicle/customer level requirements
• Development of system requirements, design, simulation, and tests of various mechatronic systems
• Development of appropriate documentation to support process compliance
• Collaborate with functional safety engineers and integrate safety requirements into system design
• Lead / participate in issue resolution activities during development, validation, and vehicle launch
• Utilization of systems development tools and processes Embedded software development experience
• Engineering tool Matlab, Simulink, MS Visio, INCA calibration tool, Software configuration management tools
• Software programming language such as C/C++, Embedded Software Development and Testing tools (CANalyzer, HILs etc.)
