Katalyst CRO in Peoria, IL, seeks a skilled embedded software engineer to develop and integrate real-time C++ software for drive-by-wire and autonomous vehicle control systems running on Linux.
You will create and verify control models, support MIL/SIL/HIL testing across vehicle platforms, and troubleshoot communication, integration, and performance issues to ensure safety-critical operation.
Experience with vehicle networks and MATLAB/Simulink is a plus.
Develop and integrate embedded software for drive-by-wire, autonomous hauling, and vehicle control systems, including real-time C++ applications and Linux-based components. Create and verify control models, support testing across MIL/SIL/HIL and vehicle platforms, and troubleshoot communication, integration, and performance issues.
Requires at least 3 years of experience in embedded software, vehicle controls, drive-by-wire, autonomous systems, or a related domain, with strong embedded C++ and Linux/UNIX skills. Candidates should have experience with vehicle networks, MATLAB/Simulink/Stateflow, MIL/SIL/HIL testing, safety-critical systems, and TRACE32 or equivalent debugging tools.
