MAG Aerospace is looking for a Senior Systems Engineer to provide technical support to the Navy Cyber Warfare Developmental Group (NCWDG). The place of performance for this position is in Annapolis Junction, MD.

Requirements

• Must be a US Citizen
• Requires a current Top Secret security clearance. A CI Polygraph will be required within 6 months.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Provide engineering technical support for the development of new capabilities, significant alterations to existing systems, and integration of hardware and software into defense and space systems.
• Review and recommend changes to ACAT engineering documents including System Specifications, System Engineering Master Plans, Test and Evaluation Master Plans, etc.
• Review technical documents to identify shortfalls and recommend solutions.
• Conduct engineering investigations including root cause analysis.
• Participate in program reviews, design reviews, and technical meetings.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of engineering experience supporting hardware/software programs in defense, space, or advanced concepts.
• Knowledge of RF hardware systems and testing equipment.
• Proficient in risk/issue/opportunity management for hardware and software projects.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
• Expert in MS Office 365 software products.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Education

• BSc in engineering or related technical discipline.

Desired Skills

• Experience with Agile software development.
• Experience with orbit design and simulation tools (GMAT, EMTG, STK, Matlab, etc.).
• Experience with trajectory optimization software (C++, Python, Matlab).

Additional Requirements

• Active TOP SECRET security clearance with SCI eligibility.
• Ability to pass a Counterintelligence polygraph.
