Responsibilities

We are seeking a Senior Mid-Level Systems Engineer to provide enterprise-focused engineering support to a government customer. This role involves supporting a DoD customer and communicating with program personnel, customers, and senior executives. You will be responsible for ensuring the technical integrity, quality, and completeness of work and deliverables across process areas defined in ISO/IEC 15288, including but not limited to:

• Developing and approving delivery of work products in all Process Areas of ISO/IEC 15288.
• Leading contractor systems engineering activities, supervising engineering staff and technicians.
• Making independent decisions on engineering issues and methodologies.
• Briefing stakeholders and presenting project status on technical aspects.
• Developing innovative approaches to technical or engineering challenges.
• Conducting evaluations for project implementation suitability.
• Analyzing and proposing engineering standards and processes.
• Performing technical analysis of alternatives and recommending solutions.
• Contributing to systems engineering documentation such as System Engineering Plans, Requirements Specifications, and Interface Control Documents.
• Managing system requirements to ensure compatibility with system architecture frameworks like DoDAF.
• Coordinating resolution of action items from reviews and meetings requiring cross-discipline collaboration.

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor's or higher degree in computer science, engineering, or related field plus at least 15 years of systems engineering experience. A Master's or PhD can substitute for two years of experience. Alternatively, a high school diploma or GED plus 19 years of experience is acceptable.
• TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.

Desired:

• Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
