The Senior System Architecture Engineer is responsible for developing and evolving technical network and service architectures, designing strategies to maintain, enhance, and advance T-Mobile's technology portfolio. Key responsibilities include creating detailed schematics for network and service architecture, selecting hardware and software, and defining implementation techniques and processes.

This role involves delivering and implementing complex systems and projects by collaborating with cross-functional teams, analyzing network simulations, and translating technical concepts for diverse audiences. The engineer will influence industry forums and contribute to technology advancements.

The position requires handling moderately complex technical assignments, using sound judgment, and proposing informed solutions with minimal daily guidance. We value innovation, agility, and a collaborative spirit.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Understand system protocols, operations, and data flows.
2. Lead and deliver complex network and service architecture designs.
3. Translate technical issues into business impacts.
4. Conduct tests, inspections, and prepare reports.
5. Develop procedures to validate and optimize network architecture.
6. Document systems architecture, design strategies, and standards clearly.
7. Collaborate with technical teams to deliver solutions.
8. Continuously learn and share knowledge on new technologies.

11. Support Proof of Concept activities and evaluate new technologies.

Education and Work Experience:

1. 5+ Years of technical engineering experience.
2. Experience with RedHat Linux, Ansible, Puppet.
3. Data Center infrastructure and network design experience.
4. Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

1. Effective communication, teamwork, and technical expertise.
2. Ability to work under pressure and think forward.
3. Strong analytical and influencing skills.
4. Legally authorized to work in the US, 18+ years old.
