Job Summary

This Senior Analyst role is pivotal in shaping the initial impression of Cardinal Health as a leading distributor. You will be responsible for the strategic planning and staging of inventory to support new customer start-ups, ensuring a seamless and positive onboarding experience. This role requires strong collaboration with internal teams, including the IMO team, Sales, Customer Engagement, Planning, and Buyers, as well as providing essential inventory support during customer implementation calls. You will also be a key point of contact for New Business Process (NBP) governance, risk management, and data accuracy. Furthermore, you will manage customer de-implementations, including planning inventory reductions and calculating customer buyout quantities. This role also supports customer sequestered inventory (Onelot program) and suture stocking strategies. Success in this role depends on your collaborative spirit, technical skills, communication abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Responsibilities

  • Customer Start-up Inventory Planning:Develop and execute inventory staging plans to support new customer implementations, ensuring timely and accurate product availability.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:Work closely with the IMO team, Sales, Customer Engagement, Planning, and Buyers to align inventory strategies with customer needs and business objectives.
  • Customer Implementation Support:Provide inventory expertise and support during customer implementation calls, addressing questions and resolving any inventory-related issues.
  • New Business Process (NBP) Governance:Act as the gatekeeper for the NBP, ensuring adherence to established processes, managing risks, and maintaining data accuracy.
  • Customer De-implementations:Manage the inventory aspects of customer de-implementations, including planning inventory reductions and calculating appropriate customer buyout quantities.
  • Sequestered Inventory Management:Oversee customer sequestered inventory (Onelot program), ensuring compliance and efficient management of these specialized inventory programs.
  • Suture Stocking Strategies:Develop and implement effective suture stocking strategies to meet customer needs and optimize inventory levels.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting:Analyze inventory data to identify trends, potential issues, and opportunities for improvement. Prepare and present reports to stakeholders as needed.
  • Process Improvement:Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, finance, or related field preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in inventory management or supply chain planning preferred
  • Experience with SAP and Kinaxis knowledge preferred.
  • Familiarity working with Tableau or Alteryx Dashboards preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


Anticipated salary range:$56,200 - $80,400
