Job summary

MPI is seeking a Superintendent to lead day-to-day field operations on secure government and mission-critical construction projects in the Culpeper, VA area. This role offers exposure to GovCloud, federal, and data center work within a nationally recognized contractor, with opportunities for long-term career growth and development.

You will coordinate subcontractors, safety initiatives, and project schedules while ensuring compliance with security requirements, safety standards, and quality

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day field operations for secure government and mission-critical construction projects.
• Lead project execution while maintaining safety, quality, schedule, and budget objectives.
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, inspectors, and project stakeholders.
• Ensure all work complies with project specifications, security requirements, and construction standards.
• Drive project schedules and proactively resolve field challenges.
• Maintain strong communication with project management teams and clients.
• Oversee site logistics, workforce planning, and construction sequencing.
• Lead safety initiatives and promote a culture of operational excellence.
• Support successful delivery of GovCloud, federal, secure facility, data center, and related construction projects.
• Serve as the on-site leader and primary field representative for the Superintendent role throughout all phases of construction.

Profile

• Superintendent experience within commercial construction.
• Background managing government, mission-critical, secure facility, data center, or related projects.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage subcontractors and field teams.
• Proven ability to maintain project schedules and deliver high-quality work.
• Knowledge of construction safety practices and field operations.
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
• Experience with large-scale construction projects preferred.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Experience working on projects with strict security and compliance requirements is highly valued.

Job Offer

• Base Salary: $140K - $160k
