Job summary

The Ash Group is hiring a Sr. Structural Engineer for our client, a high-tech aerospace and defense contractor delivering advanced tech for national security and space exploration. This is a 12-month contract in Englewood, CO (Onsite).

Pay up to $90/hr W2 based on skill set. Responsibilities include design, evaluation, and certification of complex metal and composite structures across payloads, aircraft, and space systems.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related discipline.
• 10+ years of relevant experience.
• FAA certification standards knowledge.
• FEMAP experience for finite element modeling.

Summary

The Ash Group is hiring a Sr. Structural Engineer (24644) for our client, a high-tech aerospace and defense contractor delivering complex technology solutions for national security and space exploration. This is a 12-month contract position working in Englewood, CO (Onsite). We are offering a pay rate up to $90/hr W2 based on skill set.

• Compensation: Up to $90/hr W2
• Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, and direct primary care benefits. After six months of employment, enjoy a 4% matched 401(k) plan with immediate 100% vesting.

What You’ll Be Doing

• As a Structural Engineer, you will be using your skills and expertise to design, evaluate, and certify our cutting edge products and services.
• You will cover a very wide range from advanced mission payloads and electronic systems through highly integrated aircraft to orbital and space exploration systems.
• You'll examine complex metallic and composite structures and systems.
• Your technical duties involve the design and development of new products and processes throughout the product lifecycle

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor's of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Civil Engineering or other related discipline
• Must have 10 or more years of relevant experience is required
• FAA certification standards
• Classical methods for analysis like Miner's or NASGRO is a must
• FEMAP for FEMS is required
• Experience with Primarily Aluminum structure – some composite honeycomb structures
