Job summary

The Ash Group is hiring an Aerospace Engineer for a 12-month contract in Englewood, CO. This onsite role offers pay up to $60/hr W2 with medical, dental, vision and a 401(k) plan after six months.

You will lead the design and development of aerospace components, conduct analysis and testing, mentor junior engineers, review technical docs, and manage timelines to meet project objectives in a high-tech defense context.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering or related field is a must.
• 6+ years of aerospace engineering experience required.
• Knowledge of engineering principles and practices.
• Experience with CFD simulations is required.

Summary

The Ash Group is hiring an Aerospace Engineer (24621) for our client, a high-tech aerospace and defense contractor delivering complex technology solutions for national security and space exploration. This is a 12-month contract position working in Englewood, CO (Onsite). We are offering a pay rate up to $60 per hour W2 based on skill set.

• Compensation: Up to $60/hr W2
• Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, and direct primary care benefits. After six months of employment, enjoy a 4% matched 401(k) plan with immediate 100% vesting.
• Duration: 12-month contract

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering or related field is a must
• 6+ years of recent aerospace engineering experience is required
• Must have knowledge of engineering principles and practices.
• Understanding of Computer Aided Engineering tools such as Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) simulations is a must
• Master’s degree or Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering is preferred
• Experience with Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) using tools such as StarCCM+ is a plus
• Experience developing aircraft aerodynamic databases is preferred
