Job summary

The Ash Group is seeking a Principal Structural Engineer for our client, a major utility provider, in Boulder, CO. This 12-month contract role is hybrid, offering up to $78/hr W2 based on experience.

You will perform structural analysis on spacecraft related hardware and develop loads and environments for structures. You’ll use closed-form and finite element methods (NASTRAN, FEMAP/SIMCenter) to analyze stress and structural dynamics, support testing, and write detailed reports documenting test

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering is required.
• 6+ years of structural engineering experience is required.
• Experience with NASTRAN and FEMAP or SIMCenter is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis on spacecraft, instruments, payloads, optics, mechanisms, and ground support equipment.
• Use closed-form and finite element analysis techniques in stress analysis and structural dynamics.
• Develop loads and environments for structure and components.
• Support structural and environmental testing for static, modal, acoustic, shock, and vibration.
• Write detailed reports for test and analysis activities.

Summary

The Ash Group is hiring a Principal Structural Engineer (24625) for our client, a major electricity and natural gas utility provider. This is a 12-month contract position working in Boulder, CO (Hybrid). We are offering a pay rate up to $78 per hour W2 based on skill set.

• Compensation: Up to $78/hr W2
• Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, and direct primary care benefits. After six months of employment, enjoy a 4% matched 401(k) plan with immediate 100% vesting.
• Duration: 12-month contract

What We’re Looking For
