Introduction

At ASML, we collaborate with trusted partners (suppliers) crucial to our market success and customer satisfaction. The Sr. Sourcing Manager oversees a team of Account Managers managing multiple suppliers, focusing on building trust, mutual interests, and benefits. This role ensures the performance of the account managers, who serve as the first point of contact for suppliers and internal stakeholders, and coordinate a unified voice towards suppliers. You will lead an experienced team and implement supplier strategies supporting ASML’s long-term growth, emphasizing Quality, Logistics, Technology, Cost, and Sustainability (QLTCS). Together with the Account Managers, you will manage all aspects of supplier relations, including technology road mapping, quality, logistics performance, and commercial contracts.

Role and Responsibilities
  1. Drive supplier development and manage commercial relationships within a strategic supplier cluster.
  2. Manage and develop a team of Account Leads.
  3. Support Account Managers in managing long-term, transparent, and trust-based supplier relationships.
  4. Prioritize projects within the category, including pilots and volume execution.
  5. Handle day-to-day strategic account management, including escalation handling, QLTCS reviews, risk assessment, and measure definition.
  6. Ensure transparency in interactions, competence development, cost roadmaps, and development activities.
  7. Refine negotiation strategies for key suppliers and support contract negotiations.
  8. Resolve escalations beyond team capabilities.
  9. Promote best practices and consistency across the team.
  10. Monitor and formalize supplier performance, maintaining global accountability for QLTCS.
  11. Understand key value drivers for each QLTCS discipline.
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree with at least 10 years in Sourcing or Sales roles.
  • Master’s degree in engineering or business is preferred.
  • Experience with New Product Introductions (NPI).
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes, product lifecycle, market dynamics, and category-specific requirements.

Additional Information

This role involves access to controlled technology under US Export Regulations. Candidates must be authorized to access such technology before employment. Business needs may require immediate access eligibility.
