About The Role

As a CBRE Procurement Sr. Manager, you'll be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and managing service providers for outsourced services. You will also assist multiple departments with the development and execution of sourcing and procurement strategies.

What You’ll Do
  • Provide formal supervision to employees. Supervise the training and development of staff. Conduct performance evaluations and coaching.
  • Coordinate and lead the team's daily activities. Establish work schedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staff. Set and track staff and department target dates. Mentor and coach as needed.
  • Assist with the development of company-wide policies and procedures, playbooks, and other organizational materials.
  • Work with business partners, operational, global shared services team members, and executive sponsors to develop, coordinate, and implement strategy at local, regional, and global levels.
  • Draft, review, negotiate, and maintain contracts and other business documents in support of the purchase of large quantities of goods and services.
  • Oversee the process of contract terminations, expirations, extensions, and renewals. Inform peers and corporate management staff of changes or results.
  • Handle supplier and contractor certification process. Conduct periodic visits to high-profile supplier work locations to review vendor performance. Approve and manage costs related to the service provider.
  • Mentor and educate on outsourcing practices and the value of applying them. Manage issues and expectations across a broad range of abilities, locations, and cultures.
  • Review all RTFs, and select solutions, and agreements. Approve contracts with national and regional service providers. Ensure contracts adhere to company standards.
  • Improve and change existing methods, processes, and standards.
What You’ll Need
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 5 - 8 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. C.P.M., C.P.S.M. or N.A.C.M. certifications or eligibility, required.
  • Experience in staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention preferred.
  • Ability to guide the exchange of difficult information, convey performance expectations, and balance problems.
  • Leadership skills to empower team impact on quality, efficiency, and effectiveness.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Extensive interpersonal skills with a strong inquisitive mentality.
  • Advanced math skills. Ability to calculate difficult figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Sr. Procurement Manager position is $115,000 annually and the maximum salary is $125,000 annually. The offered salary will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus. Benefits include: 401(K), Dental, Health, Life, and Vision insurance.
