Job summary

Novalink Solutions LLC in Little Rock seeks an Expert Level SQL Database Administrator to join our data team. The role requires hands-on experience across all aspects of SQL DBA administration, including building, tuning, security, backups, DR, and HA for large OLTP systems.

Responsibilities include upgrading SQL Servers, implementing monitoring, and maintaining high-availability configurations. Strong Windows Server experience and relevant certifications are required or highly preferred.

Qualifications

• 4 years experience in SQL Server 2022+ administration
• 3 years Windows Server Administration experience
• Certifications required

• Familiarity with industry security standards (PUB1075, FIPS, and PII)
• Cloud computing knowledge and cloud storage/backup experience

Responsibilities

• Installing and upgrading SQL Servers, including service packs and cumulative updates
• Performing routine database maintenance and monitoring logs for errors
• Managing SQL Server security, authentication, auditing, and encryption
• Capacity planning for storage and database objects, incl. AWS storage
• Establishing and testing backups, disaster recovery plans, and recovery procedures
• Developing and tuning T-SQL, ETL processes, and data loading
• Implementing SQL Server High Availability methods (Always On) and related components
• Monitoring and supporting high-traffic OLTP and batch processing environments

NOTE: This position requires candidates that have recent hands‑on experience in ALL aspects of SQL DBA Administration.

MINIMUM

4 Years Experience SQL Server 2022 (or later versions) database administration:
