The Sr. Specialist-ZF Production System at ZF Group in Gray Court, SC leads complex analysis and drives Lean ZFPS initiatives across plant processes to support reliable transmission production.

You will architect value-stream improvements, develop Lean roadmaps, and coach teams on 5S, TPM, and standard work while tracking KPIs and ensuring cost-effective, manufacturable solutions.

Formación

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in a related field.
• Experience in manufacturing/process improvement and lean initiatives.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills are essential.

Responsabilidades

• Evaluate, architect, and implement ZFPS solutions for plant processes and data.
• Drive Lean roadmaps and ensure documentation completion.
• Develop processes for continuous improvement to eliminate waste.
• Coordinate CIP activities and Lean implementations within the facility.

The Sr. Specialist-ZF Production System is responsible for performing complex technical analysis, providing technical expertise, and process guidance in the development, implementation, and management of complex/technical ZFPS (ZF Production System) initiatives. This will be across all plant processes in order to support the launch and/or ongoing production of reliable transmissions that are cost effective, able to be manufactured, meet customer specifications and maintain company standards. This position serves as a technical expert and primary point of escalation for internal customers, departmental personnel, and project or program personnel regarding ZFPS initiatives.

What you can look forward to as a Sr. Specialist-ZF Production System:

• Evaluate, propose, architect, and implement ZFPS solutions (e.g. continuous improvement and lean manufacturing methods/tools) for internal customers surrounding plant processes and related data; work closely with manufacturing engineering, operations, and related groups to align team objectives and tasks.
• Drive and design lean management system processes, strategies and ZFPS Lean Roadmaps and ensure completion of related documentation.
• Evaluate and development plant processes related to continuous improvement opportunities to eliminate waste in processes; serve as an escalation point and provide input on team and plant performance.
• Coordinate projects and strategies related to ZFPS methodologies and CIP (continuous improvement) activities and develop Lean roadmaps for implementation and sustainability within the production facility (i.e. 5S initiatives, Lean Manufacturing Philosophy, One-Piece Flow, Standardized Work, Line Balancing, Pull Systems, Waste
• Identification and Reduction, Visual Management, etc)).
• Analyze and lead the development and improvement of KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) as required.
• Serve as a key technical liaison and trainer/coach for ZFPS/continuous improvement projects within the plant, as well as an internal consultant to ZFPS Specialist I and II, plant personnel and engineering for developing and implementing continuous improvement activities (e.g. 5S, TPM, Line Balancing, Standardize work, changeover time analysis. Value stream analysis, layout planning, etc)).

Your profile as Sr. Specialist-ZF Production System:

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 6+ of manufacturing and/or skilled trades experience
• Proficient Lean Manufacturing tools and strategies implementation knowledge and skills in addition to problem-solving methods (i.e. Toyota Production System, Statistical analysis, Six Sigma, 5S, Kaizen, Poka Yoke, Kanban, etc.).
• Excellent organizational, planning, and analytical problem-solving skills including statistical analysis.
• Flexibility to travel both domestic and international.
