Aerojet Rocketdyne, a segment of L3Harris, is seeking Tool Design Engineers to join our state-of-the-art facilities at our Camden, AR location, the forefront of innovation, producing and developing a variety of energetic assemblies essential for rocket propulsion. The Tool Design Engineer will develop manufacturing strategies for specific products and processes. They will actively participate with engineering project teams to coordinate the release of new products. Responsibilities include designing manufacturing tooling for solid fuel rocket motors and warheads, developing jigs, fixtures, lifting devices, and semi-automated equipment for casting and assembly, and designing major components or system parts to improve manufacturing and product quality. Utilize CAD tools to develop layouts, sketches, and proposals, and investigate design factors such as manufacturability, material availability, interchangeability, strength-to-weight ratio, cost, and compliance with specifications.
