Job summary

MAG Aerospace is hiring a Special Security Officer (SSO) to provide security support for the Navy Cyber Warfare Developmental Group (NCWDG) at Fort Meade, MD. A current Top Secret/SCI with CI Poly and US citizenship are required.

Responsibilities include assisting with security processes, processing PARs, and handling destruction of classified material while maintaining accountability for all documents and data transfers in a high-security environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years experience in a security administration role.
• Knowledge of OPSEC, personnel security, physical IT/IA and information security principles.
• Familiarity with government and industrial security regulations and contractor clearances.

• Process paperwork and manage Program Access Requests (PAR).

MAG is hiring for a Special Security Officer (SSO) position which will provide technical support to the Navy Cyber Warfare Developmental Group (NCWDG).

• Requires a current Top Secret/SCI with CI Poly security clearance***

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist SSO with security processes and procedures
• Process paperwork and manage Program Access Requests (PAR)
• Conduct destruction of classified material and provide accountability of all documents and data transfers.
• Following courses must be completed during the period of performance:
• ICD 704 Personnel Security Course
• ICD 705 Physical Security Course
• Special Security Officer Course (SSOC)
• SCI Overview Seminar
• Establishing & Operating an Insider Threat Program

Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

Experience

• Minimum of 10 years experience working in an administrative role in a security environment
• Knowledgeable of OPSEC, personnel industrial, physical, IT/IA, and information security principals
• Possess a working knowledge of Government and Industrial Security regulations and contractor clearances
• Possess experience with processing visit certifications
• Possess experience with maintaining security holding
• Must have solid knowledge/operation of MS Office software

Education

• High School GED

Clearance

• CURRENT/ACTIVE Top Secret/SCI with CI POLY
• Possess an investigation that is current within 6 years.
• Personnel who are enrolled in CE will also be eligible

• Must be a US Citizen.

Salary at MAG Aerospace is determined by various factors including but not limited to location, the particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $160000 to $180000 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of MAG's total compensation package for employees.
