Job summary

MAG Aerospace seeks a Jr Acquisition Analyst to support the Navy Cyber Warfare Developmental Group (NCWDG) in Annapolis Junction, MD. Requires current Top Secret clearance and potential TS/SCI upgrade in the near future.

Responsibilities include preparing briefs for MDA, JCIDS documentation, and program schedules. Ideal candidates have up to 2 years in systems acquisition with PPBE experience and strong briefing skills.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Management or Business.
  • Top Secret current/active clearance.
  • Ability to upgrade to TS/SCI in the near future.
  • Experience briefing Officers.
  • Experience with PPBE, budget docs, and contract deliverables.
  • DAU Level 2 Certification in Program Management or SPRDE (in progress).

  • Prepare briefings for the Milestone Decision Authority (MDA).
  • Prepare JCIDS docs per DoD 5000.02.
  • Attend, document, and summarize meetings.
  • Provide training and develop evaluation reports for proposals.

  • Coordinate quarterly PMO reviews and briefing materials.
  • Monitor cost, schedule, and performance for NCWDG entities.

We are seeking a resourceful Jr Acquisition Analysts to provide technical support to the Navy Cyber Warfare Developmental Group (NCWDG). As key members of our team, the Jr Acquisition Analysts will provide acquisition support of the US Navy. Place of performance for this position is in Annapolis Junction, MD.


Requires a current Top Secret security clearance. A CI Polygraph will be required within 6 months.


Essential Duties And Responsibilities


  • Prepare briefings and strategy recommendations for the Milestone Decision Authority (MDA)

  • Prepare Joint Capabilities Integration and Development Systems (JCIDS) documentation including, but not limited to, those listed in DoD 5000.02.

  • Attend, document, and summarize meetings

  • Provide training and develop evaluation board analysis reports for proposal evaluations.

  • Develop program and project documentation, risk management documentation, acquisition plans, and program schedules

  • Coordinate quarterly Program Management Review for the PMO to include briefing template development, scheduling, briefing book preparation, and meeting coordination.

  • Monitor Cost, Schedule, and Performance of NCWDG entities


Requirements


  • Minimum Requirements

    • Minimum of up to 2 years’ experience related to systems acquisition, including logistics, research and development, configuration management or systems analysis or design

    • Experience working on programs including up to 2 years in science and technology or research, development, test and evaluation programs

    • Experience briefing and developing briefs for Officers

    • Experience with Planning, Programming, Budgeting and Execution (PPBE) to include the development of acquisition strategies, development of budget and financial management documentation, and monitoring project performance and contract deliverables.

    • Proficient managing research and development projects

    • Proficient developing program budget and program execution plans to track against financial benchmarks

    • Proficient with DoD contracting procedures and guidance including DFARS and FAR.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Management or Business

  • TOP SECRET CURRENT/ACTIVE

  • Possesseligibilityfor access to beupgraded to aTS/SCIin theNEARfuture upon hire - (ALL HIRES WILL MAINTAIN AN SCI - MAG Will Upgrade your TS to TS/SCI - IF YOU POSSES THE BACKGROUND TO BE UPGRADED)

  • Be able to successfully pass a Counterintelligence polygraph examination in the future

  • Possess an investigation that is current within 6 years

  • Personnel who are enrolled in CE will also be eligible

  • DAU Level 2 Certification (in Program Management, SPRDE, or Systems Engineering) or equivalent (in progress acceptable)

The projected compensation range for this position is $110,000 to $120,000 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of MAG's total compensation package for employees.
