Job summary

Oxipital AI seeks an Industrial Automation Applications Engineer to bridge customers and engineering, translating needs into technical specs and leading PoC deployments. You will drive pre-sales support, demos, ROI analyses, and large robotics projects across global manufacturing sectors.

Candidates should have 5+ years in machine vision or robotics, strong image processing and ML knowledge, and travel up to 50%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years experience with machine vision or robotics.
• Strong understanding of image processing and machine learning.
• Demonstrated experience managing multiple technical projects at once.
• Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience creating demos or PoC systems in an industrial environment.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Working knowledge and understanding of Robotics, PLC, or Controls Engineering
• Experience with CRM; Salesforce preferred.
• Willingness to travel for customer engagements in Industrial environment up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Bridge between customers, sales and engineering—capturing requirements in technical solution development.
• Support pre-sales with evaluating opportunities and defining project performance criteria.
• Translate customer needs into clear technical specifications for internal teams.
• Lead technical presentations, demos, and PoC projects for potential customers.
• Deliver technical results documentation and ROI analyses for prospective clients.
• Travel to customer sites for demos, training, installs, and post-install support.
• Manage large-scale capital equipment and robotics projects from concept to delivery with detailed plans and risk management.
• Act as primary contact for project execution and maintain alignment among customers, integrators, and leadership.
• Provide ongoing progress updates and milestone reporting to senior management.
• Develop standardized workflows and project governance models to support growth.
• Collaborate with marketing to provide technical content for case studies and demos.
