Job summary

Oxipital AI is hiring a Senior Machine Learning Scientist to advance vision-based ML models from proof of concept to production. You will work with a small team of ML scientists, engineers, and model specialists, collaborating closely with software engineers and other functions.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years building ML-centric software in fast-paced production environments and hands-on experience with CV, edge deployment, and MLOps. Strong communication and problem-solving are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in CS/CE or related field.
• 4 years of professional software development experience.
• Experience with deep neural networks for CV applications.
• Strong Python, PyTorch, NumPy or OpenCV skills.
• Experience deploying software in a Linux environment.

Responsibilities

• Expand capabilities of ML model architectures with new features.
• Optimize ML model training and inference efficiency.
• Design, develop, and maintain tools and infra for training, deploying, evaluating ML models.
• Research cutting-edge ML techniques and integrate into the stack.
• Contribute to a robust, scalable product pipeline.
