Job summary

Oxipital AI seeks an Industrial Automation Applications Engineer - Machine Vision/Sr. Solutions Engineer to drive adoption of our AI-enabled vision inspection and robotic platforms across manufacturing sectors. You will translate customer needs into technical requirements and lead PoC deployments with sales and engineering teams.

Travel up to 50% to customer sites, deliver demos, prepare ROI analyses, and guide projects from concept to delivery while keeping stakeholders aligned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• At least 5 years of experience with machine vision or robotics.
• Strong understanding of image processing and machine learning.
• Experience managing multiple technical projects at once.
• Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience creating demos or PoC systems in an industrial environment.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Working knowledge of Robotics, PLC, or Controls Engineering.
• Experience with CRM; Salesforce preferred.
• Willingness to travel for customer engagements in industrial environments up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Bridge between customers, sales and engineering—capturing requirements for technical solution development.
• Support pre-sales with evaluating opportunities and defining project performance criteria.
• Translate customer needs into clear technical specifications for internal teams.
• Lead technical presentations, demos, and PoC projects for potential customers.
• Prepare and deliver technical results documentation and ROI analyses.
• Travel to customer sites for demos, training, installs and post-install support.
• Manage large-scale capital equipment and robotics projects from concept through delivery.
• Serve as primary contact for project execution, coordinating with stakeholders.
• Provide progress updates and risk mitigation to senior management.
• Develop standardized workflows and project governance models.
• Collaborate with marketing to create technical case studies and demo content.
