Job description

Mission

While candidates in the listed locations are encouraged for this role, we are open to remote candidates in various cities across the US.

We are seeking experienced pre-sales professionals with a successful track record in helping large enterprises become more data-driven. Working alongside the Enterprise Account Executive (AE), the Enterprise Solutions Architect (SA) will define and direct the technical strategy for our largest and most important accounts, promoting wider adoption of our products and deeper integration of ML & AI. You should leverage your solid background in value selling, technical account management, and technical leadership to maximize success in these accounts. Collaboration with a team that includes hands-on resources for proofs of concept and product demonstrations is essential, and a strong technical understanding of ML & AI within relevant use cases in Manufacturing, High Tech, and Energy sectors is required.

The impact you will have :

  • You will serve as the main technical contact for 1-3 clients, representing Databricks.
  • You will guide your clients through a transformational journey, helping them evaluate and adopt Databricks solutions as part of their strategic initiatives.
  • You will implement technical strategies aligned with client goals.
  • You will foster a movement of technical champions within client organizations.
  • You will align technical strategies with Databricks solutions.
  • You will provide mentorship to other team members.
  • You will earn respect through your experience, insights, and contributions.

What we look for :

  • 7+ years of experience in presales or related roles.
  • Proven ability to establish and lead virtual teams within accounts.
  • Experience managing very large (>1M ARR), global accounts.
  • Ability to build relationships with executives and influencers.
  • Strong presentation skills with the ability to influence decision-makers.
  • Technical expertise in big data, data science, and cloud technologies.
  • Experience in data-driven business transformation and driving change through data.
