Title: Sr Software Engineer - Mobile / Location: Remote - US

At Blue Yonder, we are revolutionizing how organizations access and act on critical supply chain data. Our mobile solution delivers real-time insights and empowers decision-making on the go—all through a secure, performant, and beautifully designed experience on both iOS and Android.

As a Senior Mobile Engineer, you will be a founding member of our mobility team, responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining a flexible mobile application architecture. You will leverage React Native, Kotlin Multiplatform, Swift, and Kotlin to build seamless, device-agnostic experiences while integrating Azure services for cloud-connected mobile solutions. Your work will power real-time shipment tracking, inventory management, predictive analytics, and edge computing—all while ensuring top-tier security, performance, and compliance.

You will play a key role in optimizing mobile performance, implementing CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, and integrating robust authentication solutions using AAD and Gravitee with OIDC. Collaborating across time zones, you will help mentor emerging talent, contribute to code reviews, and work closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, and engineers to bring innovative supply chain features to life.

Experience:

1. Mobile Development: 5+ years of hands-on experience designing, building, and maintaining mobile applications using React Native, with a strong understanding of native platform development in Swift and Kotlin. Proven track record of developing high-quality applications, writing robust tests, and ensuring long-term maintainability.
2. Backend & Microservices: Experience working with microservices architectures, including development with Node.js/TypeScript for backend services. Strong understanding of API design principles to create scalable, efficient systems.
3. Database & APIs: Proficiency in NoSQL databases such as MongoDB and expertise in REST API design and implementation. Skilled in integrating mobile applications with cloud-based services and real-time data streams.
4. Identity & Access Management (IAM): Experience with AAD and a strong understanding of OIDC authentication flows, with the ability to support evolving IAM solutions like Gravitee.
5. Performance Optimization & Best Practices: Deep knowledge of mobile performance tuning, memory management, and battery efficiency for large-scale applications. Ability to diagnose and optimize app performance to ensure a seamless user experience.
6. Testing & Quality Assurance: Committed to ensuring application robustness through comprehensive testing at all stages of development, including unit, UI, and integration tests using frameworks like XCTest, Espresso, and Detox.
7. Collaboration & Communication: An empathetic communicator adept at working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, providing clear insights and thoughtful solutions.
