The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Mobile Software Engineer to join our App team. This role will be responsible for leading the technical design and implementation of new features for our React Native gig driver app. As a senior engineer, you will mentor others and collaborate cross-functionally to define project scope, complexity, and effort.

What You're Responsible For

• Collaborate with engineering, product, and design teams
• Develop new app features and UI components from prototypes and wireframes
• Utilize Native APIs for Android and iOS integrations
• Implement mobile CI/CD strategies to improve development and release cycles
• Write automated tests to ensure quality and performance
• Share knowledge and improve team skills through documentation, demos, and code reviews
• Create reusable frontend modules
• Work with stakeholders to plan and deliver projects efficiently
• Mentor fellow engineers and provide technical feedback

What We're Looking For

• 6+ years of mobile engineering experience
• 3+ years in a senior Mobile Engineering role
• 3+ years deploying React Native and Typescript apps
• Deep knowledge of JavaScript, CSS, HTML, and frontend frameworks
• Strong understanding of React fundamentals
• Experience with full mobile app lifecycle management
• Ability to make critical system design decisions and lead projects
• Experience with React Native automated testing frameworks

Exceptional candidates may also have:

• Experience with OTA mobile app updates
• Start-up experience in high-growth environments
• Industry experience in mobility
