Job summary

KPMG LLP in Montvale, NJ is seeking a Sr. Software Engineer to join our Tax Ignition Team on a hybrid basis. You will translate business needs into AI-powered features and APIs, and work with product owners and data scientists.

You will build client-facing web apps in Angular + TypeScript with Python or .NET backend services, leverage Azure for deployment, and mentor junior engineers while staying current with Generative AI advances.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of recent experience in software development.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in computer science, engineering or related field is preferred; Master's degree is desired.
• Solid understanding of software engineering such as microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, authentication/authorization.
• Experience building enterprise systems using Python, .NET, C#, Angular, SQL and Azure is preferred.
• Strong Python skills and experience with ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit‑learn) is preferred with strong communication and analytical skills.
