About the Role

Lead Developer – High‑Performance Network Application Delivery (Manassas, VA, USA)

Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements for the development of new features and shareable components across multiple applications
• Develop applications using C++/Java, Boost, gRPC, multithreading, Linux, Python, and Docker environments
• Articulate and implement complex application requirements
• Align with SWIFT's security guidelines and coding standards
• Conduct performance tests to ensure high‑efficiency application operation
• Collaborate closely with multi‑functional teams to implement solutions efficiently
• Expand test automation and help ensure quality in various test environments

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
• 5 to 10 years of in‑depth systems development experience
• Hands‑on experience in C++, templates, Boost libraries, gRPC, multi‑threaded application development
• Familiarity building HTTP, TCP/IP based applications
• Proficiency in XML and JSON parsing and system performance tuning
• Experience with debugger, memory‑leak analysis, and system performance tuning
• Knowledge of security technologies (PKI, HMAC, AES, digest algorithms, SSL)
• Experience with databases, storage technologies and RHEL systems
• Familiarity with Agile tools such as Jenkins, JIRA, Artifactory and Confluence
• Optional: Experience with mission‑critical, highly available, high‑performance software systems
• Optional: Understanding of relational databases, PL/SQL programming and efficient SQL writing

Salary & Benefits
