Illumio is seeking a senior software engineer in California to design, build, test, and operate containerized Go services for a distributed, multi-tenant cloud security platform.

You will own features across the software development lifecycle, collaborate with Product Management and stakeholders, and mentor junior engineers and interns. This role emphasizes scalable systems, cloud platforms, and security-first engineering.

Formación

• Requires a bachelor's degree in computer science or an equivalent degree.
• At least four years of experience building distributed, scalable software and systems; a master's degree is a plus.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP, Go, SQL, REST API clients, TCP/IP networking, and Unix/Linux.
• Kubernetes-based container service experience is desired.
