Job summary

Turnkey is seeking a Go-focused infrastructure engineer to build and automate production systems across multi-cloud environments. You will develop software in Go to scale and harden platforms, manage Kubernetes at scale, and provision cloud resources with Terraform.

You will work in a security-conscious setting, design deployment processes, and improve monitoring, logging, and incident response while enabling rapid, safe growth of the engineering team.

Qualifications

• Multi-cloud infrastructure experience, AWS preferred.
• Hands-on programming in Go for production systems.
• Experience running Kubernetes at scale with IaC (Terraform).
• Security-conscious environment experience.
• Based in the United States; strong ownership and learning mindset.

Responsibilities

• Own best practices for managing production infrastructure, including provisioning, scaling, configuration, capacity planning, and monitoring.
• Build and maintain Kubernetes infrastructure at scale and underlying cloud resources via Terraform.
• Write Go automation to reduce manual work and operational risk.
• Build infrastructure to deploy applications in secure enclaves.
• Design deployment processes to minimize risk in the software lifecycle.
• Improve operations across deployment, logging, monitoring, and alerting.
• Assist in scaling the engineering team.
