Overview

This is a remote position.

Position Overview

The Software Developer is an Information Technology contributor responsible for:

• Working closely as part of a highly collaborative team to solve problems.
• Building and maintaining software for the Aveanna Healthcare suite of technologies and applications.
• Defining and creating solutions based on problem statements developed during collaboration with product management professionals.
• Providing technical guidance to maintain existing systems.

Essential Job Functions

• Work with product management to understand problems and define solutions.
• Create and support software applications and systems using Behavior Driven Development methodology.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of new technical standards and methods.
• Apply best practices in testing, documentation, code reviews, etc.
• Collaborate with IT team members to triage issues, resolve service interruptions, and mitigate risks.
• Work with fellow developers to deliver solutions that benefit the organization and its stakeholders.
• Participate in improving software development lifecycle, technical operations, and technology innovation.

Requirements

• BA or BS degree (or equivalent experience)
• Strong proficiency in object-oriented programming
• Familiarity with Git version control
• Experience with hybrid on-premises/cloud implementations

Preferences

• Healthcare industry experience
• Familiarity with AWS cloud platform
• Experience with .NET Framework
