Job Description

CCI is looking for a Senior Software Developer with a background in PeopleSoft Application Development to join our team supporting a Department of Justice agency in the National Capital Region. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a team responsible for building and maintaining enterprise software applications to meet business needs. The Senior Software Developer will be a member of an agile team, analyzing current business processes, configuring, and building software applications using PeopleSoft, and ensuring the quality of the final solution. Candidates should have strong verbal and written communication skills. This position offers a hybrid work schedule.

Responsibilities :

• Coordinate with Business Analyst to understand client business needs and requirements
• Assist in design and development of PeopleSoft applications based on business requirements
• Upgrade and modify PeopleSoft applications as per business needs
• Assist in preparing project plans and technical and functional specifications
• Perform code reviews and recommend improvements
• Identify and troubleshoot coding issues in a timely manner
• Ensure project deliverables meet business requirements and are completed within timelines
• Support system testing and bug fixing activities
• Recommend new coding techniques to ensure quality and usability

Qualifications : Required :

• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain and hold a Top Secret clearance; sponsorship available
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information technology, or equivalent
• At least 7 years of experience with PeopleSoft code base
• At least 7 years of experience with PeopleSoft technical architecture
• Understanding of Oracle database structures

Desired :

• Certified SAFe Practitioner
• Experience with PeopleSoft Federal HRMS is a plus

Pay Range :

The Proposed Salary Range for This Position Is : $94,400 - $198,300
