Job description

Our client, located in NV, is currently in need of a Sr ServiceNow Developer for a 3-month contract. The consultant will work remotely in support of ITSM and ITOM ServiceNow development. The role involves advising the client and existing project team as an SME in ITSM and ITOM.

Responsibilities:

1. Configure and customize technical solutions based on prioritized agile/scrum stories for each sprint.
2. Develop and configure areas of the technical architecture, including Service Portal / Employee Center, Service Catalog, Request, Change, Asset Management, Configuration Management (CMDB), and integrations.
3. Design, develop, and configure workflows, forms, scripts, screen tailoring, report setup, data imports, custom scripting, and third-party software integrations, following ServiceNow development best practices.
4. Design technical solutions to address complex requirements, evaluate alternatives, and implement the best solution.
5. Analyze CMDB / AMDB, document findings, and identify improvement opportunities.
6. Document recommendations in agile story format.
7. Support remediation activities in line with best practices.
8. Prepare ServiceNow CMDB / AMDB for integration with Forescout eyeExtend module.
9. Install and configure to maintain the CMDB / AMDB continuously.
10. Assess and remediate the current state of the ServiceNow ITSM module to ensure system prerequisites are fit for purpose.
11. Implement client device order components, including request forms, catalogs, workflows for approval, and CMDB / AMDB reconciliation.

Required Qualifications:

• US Citizen with the ability to pass a government background check.
• ServiceNow Certified Systems Administrator certification.
• Experience with ServiceNow ITSM and ITOM development.
• Ability to work in an advisory role with the customer.
