Job description

As a Senior Angular Developer, you will help ensure today is safe and tomorrow is smarter. Our work depends on Software Developer Senior joining our team to support the VA T4NG Consolidated Corporate Support Services (CCSS) program serving our Department of Veterans Affairs Corporate Portfolio clients across the entire U.S.

Responsibilities:

1. Design, develop, and test new features in VA-provided applications, maintaining regular communication with colleagues involved in all development processes.
2. Perform analysis, implement, test, and troubleshoot bug fixes. Responsible for designing and implementing software projects using C# and the latest Angular framework.
3. Determine user needs, analyze system capabilities, resolve problems related to program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls. Prepare operating instructions and develop autonomous services, desktop applications, web applications, scripts, and utility programs.
4. Ensure software standards are met.
5. Apply technical standards, principles, theories, concepts, and techniques regularly.
6. Receive assignments as objectives and establish goals to meet these objectives.
7. Work under supervision, with work reviewed by a supervisor or lead for technical soundness and adequacy.
8. Provide solutions to technical problems of moderate scope and complexity, analyzing situations or data considering various factors.
9. Work under general direction on routine tasks, with detailed instructions provided for new projects or assignments.
10. Exercise judgment within defined procedures to determine appropriate actions, with work reviewed for technical accuracy.
11. Contribute to the completion of project milestones.

Required Technical Skills:

• AngularJS (version 14 or higher, up to Angular 18, minimum 4 years of experience)
• MS SQL Server (including writing stored procedures, understanding SQL, creating tables, managing databases)
• Proficiency with Visual Studio

Security Clearance:

Ability to obtain a VA Position of Public Trust – Medium Background Investigation (MBI).
