Job Summary

Part of the Patrol Division, the Security Supervisor 2 leads a team of security officers who patrol assigned areas, ensuring the safety and security of the facility or property. This position involves planning patrol routes, monitoring officer performance, responding to incidents, and ensuring that security procedures are followed. The Security Supervisor 2 is expected to handle more complex security issues and often works closely with clinical and organizational leaders, law enforcement, and emergency responders.

The Security Supervisor 2 plays a key role in training and mentoring junior officers, ensuring they are equipped to handle various security challenges. This role requires strong leadership and the ability to handle high-pressure situations calmly and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for maintaining workplace safety
• Supervising security officers and patrol activities
• Responding to incidents and ensuring security procedures are followed
• Training and mentoring junior officers
• Collaborating with clinical, organizational leaders, law enforcement, and emergency responders

Work Schedule

Full Time Evening Shift, Hours are 2:45pm-11:15pm with every other weekend and holiday rotation required.

Qualifications

Education Requirements

• Completes and maintains all competencies and trainings as required for role.
• 2-year/associate degree or relevant education & experience considered in lieu of degree

Experience

• Relevant experience in security or related field

Certification and Licensure

• Valid PA Driver's License
• IAHSS Basic Level Certification (CHSO) – within 6 months of hire
• IAHSS Advanced Level Certification (CAHSO) – within 12 months of hire
• IAHSS Supervisor Level Certification (CHSS) – within 18 months of hire
• FEMA IS-100.C, IS-906, IS-907, IS-200.C
• BLS Certification
