This role carries ownership of full-cycle design deliverables across multiple concurrent projects and serves as a technical resource for internal teams and clients alike. Working closely with project managers, engineers, and consultants, the Sr. Security Designer brings deep technical expertise and professional judgment to translate client security requirements into high-quality system designs, specifications, and construction documents. This role is also expected to contribute to design standards, mentor junior staff, and support business development efforts as needed.

  • Maintain a high standard of design quality and consistency across the full project portfolio.
Technical Leadership

  • Evaluate and select appropriate security technologies, equipment, and vendors based on project requirements and best‑value analysis.
  • Conduct and lead site surveys to verify existing conditions and inform design decisions.
  • Lead integration coordination between electronic security systems and related disciplines (IT, AV, BMS, low voltage).
  • Review contractor submittals and shop drawings for compliance with design intent and applicable standards.
Project Collaboration
  • Partner with project managers, engineers, and consultants to align technical design with project scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Participate in and lead coordination meetings with internal teams, architects, contractors, and external stakeholders.

  • Support client relationships through technical responsiveness and professional delivery.
Quality, Standards & Growth
