Job summary

Henkel invites you to join the Adhesive Technologies team in a role focused on product analysis, testing, and development. You will document progress and results, and collaborate with product management, production and sourcing to deliver improved adhesives, sealants, and coatings.

This position supports innovation and sustainability across Henkel's product lines. The role requires a strong background in chemical engineering, chemistry, or materials science with hands-on R&D experience.

Qualifications

  • Deep understanding of heat transfer materials and thermal interface products.
  • Broad knowledge of polymer science, including polymer chemistry, structure-property relationships, rheology, and adhesive mechanics.
  • Experience with applications and assemblies in electronics industry.

Responsibilities

  • Fully manage and lead product analysis and testing while documenting progress and results in LIM systems.
  • Provide technical support to customers and analyze results after product release; record and communicate results.
  • Collaborate with product management, production and sourcing to develop and nurture products.

What you´ll do:


  • Fully manage and lead product analysis and testing while documenting progress and results in the LIM systems

  • Provide technical support to customer and analyze results after product release Record, organize and communicate results/data from experiments and testing

  • Explore new technology, product, or performance improvement opportunities

  • Observe safety and environmental guidelines while handling products

  • Perform data analysis, draw conclusions, and make experimental recommendations

  • Maintain laboratory and storage areas, as well as equipment Ensure adherence to all applicable environmental, health and safety regulations, standards and policies

  • Actively participate in scientific publications and forums

  • Collaborate closely with product management, production and sourcing teams to develop new products and nurture current product lines through product o Support manufacturing to ensure quality product delivery

  • Attend or present technical work at business meetings and conferences


What makes you a good fit

Education


  • Ph.D in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, or related fields, with a minimum of 3 years work experience in product development; or M.S. in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science / related fields with a minimum of 5 years in product development; or B.S. in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry Materials Science, or related fields with a minimum of 10 years of product development related experience.


Experience


  • Deep understanding of heat transfer materials and thermal interface products.

  • Broad based knowledge of polymer science, including polymer chemistry, structure property relationships, rheology, bulk and adhesive mechanics of soft materials.

  • An understanding of the requirements of applications and assemblies in the electronics industry.
