What you´ll do:
- Fully manage and lead product analysis and testing while documenting progress and results in the LIM systems
- Provide technical support to customer and analyze results after product release Record, organize and communicate results/data from experiments and testing
- Explore new technology, product, or performance improvement opportunities
- Observe safety and environmental guidelines while handling products
- Perform data analysis, draw conclusions, and make experimental recommendations
- Maintain laboratory and storage areas, as well as equipment Ensure adherence to all applicable environmental, health and safety regulations, standards and policies
- Actively participate in scientific publications and forums
- Collaborate closely with product management, production and sourcing teams to develop new products and nurture current product lines through product o Support manufacturing to ensure quality product delivery
- Attend or present technical work at business meetings and conferences
What makes you a good fit
Education
- Ph.D in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, or related fields, with a minimum of 3 years work experience in product development; or M.S. in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science / related fields with a minimum of 5 years in product development; or B.S. in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry Materials Science, or related fields with a minimum of 10 years of product development related experience.
Experience
- Deep understanding of heat transfer materials and thermal interface products.
- Broad based knowledge of polymer science, including polymer chemistry, structure property relationships, rheology, bulk and adhesive mechanics of soft materials.
- An understanding of the requirements of applications and assemblies in the electronics industry.
