About The Job:

The Risk and Operational Compliance (Senior) Analyst analyzes and reviews accounting data, financial statements, and documents to assess compliance with department policies and procedures, Service Organization Controls, and audit requirements. This role involves active engagement with client delivery teams and other departments to ensure the SOC framework remains relevant.

What You Will Do:
  1. Perform advanced compliance system assessments to confirm compliance with regulations, practices, and policies for initiatives, inspections, and training.
  2. Use data from multiple sources to create comprehensive reports with improvements and recommendations.
  3. Facilitate onboarding activities for CBRE employees across AMS and EMEA, acting as liaison between the account team and local HR and operational teams.
  4. Identify and troubleshoot data integration and integrity issues.
  5. Assist in creating policies, procedures, and audit requirements for multiple lines of business, evaluating risks across compliance areas.
  6. Serve as the primary contact for client onboarding and data privacy audits.
  7. Identify gaps in policies and procedures; review system assessments to ensure alignment with regulations and standards.
  8. Coordinate with other departments and IT to implement projects successfully.
  9. Act as Subject Matter Expert for key systems, especially onboarding and screening systems, ensuring compliance with client requirements.
  10. Communicate results and violations to management.
  11. Document definitions, processes, and practices to ensure consistency.
  12. Mentor junior associates.
  13. Apply general knowledge and techniques to accomplish tasks and solve routine problems.
  14. Maintain broad knowledge of own discipline and some knowledge of related disciplines.
  15. Lead by example and embody CBRE RISE values.
  16. Work within standardized procedures to meet objectives and deadlines.
  17. Explain complex information clearly to others.
  18. Manage documentation related to onboarding and screening activities.
What You'll Need:
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 2-5 years of relevant experience; experience and education considered in lieu of degree.
  • Sophisticated analytical skills, with ability to interpret documents and present information confidently.
  • Understanding of procedures and standards to solve slightly complex problems.
  • Ability to analyze solutions using technical judgment and precedents.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
  • Strong organizational skills and inquisitiveness.
