Job description

Location:

US-Remote or Dallas/Scottsdale Offices

What You'll Do:

• Lead and develop a team of 3-5 direct reports, providing guidance and support
• Accurately record revenue activities in accordance with US GAAP and company policies
• Manage the month-end revenue close process, including reviewing billing, revenue schedules, journal entries, and reconciliations
• Prepare and review quarterly flux explanations for balance sheet and income statement accounts
• Review professional services agreements for accuracy and proper setup in the financial system
• Evaluate and improve current processes and procedures, supporting internal stakeholders
• Collaborate with revenue recognition and quote-to-cash teams to ensure compliance with policies
• Build relationships with departments such as Sales, Finance, Tax, Legal, and Controllership
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and SOX requirements
• Support internal and external audits as needed
• Escalate issues and meet deadlines effectively

What We're Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting; CPA preferred
• Experience in public accounting or assurance preferred
• Experience with ASC 606 preferred
• Strong team management and development skills
• Willingness to support multiple time zones
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with Workday, Upland, Salesforce, Microsoft Office
• Strong interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Compensation and Benefits:

The base salary range is $80,000 - $95,000 USD. This position may also include performance bonuses or commissions. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401K with matching, flexible time off, fitness programs, and voluntary benefits.
