Saint-Gobain is seeking a Sr. Research Engineer I to join our Commercial Building & Infrastructure R&D team in Wilmington, MA.
You will lead development and optimization of advanced construction materials and waterproofing technologies, working from concept to commercialization. In this role, you will contribute to the development of next-generation products that improve building performance, sustainability, durability, and customer value.
Reporting to the Principal Scientist, you will work closely with global research teams, manufacturing, marketing, sales, technical service, customers, and suppliers to advance new technologies from concept through commercialization. This is an excellent opportunity for a scientist or engineer who enjoys hands‑on laboratory work, solving complex technical challenges, and bringing innovative solutions to market.
This position will be initially located in Wilmington, MA and future location is Northboro, MA.

We believe in the importance of pay transparency in what we offer potential candidates. Provided is the national pay range for this position which is $92,000 to $142,000 per year. However, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount is 12% of base salary based on company and individual performance measures. The Total Target Cash range (base pay and annual bonus) for this position, is $103,040.00 to $159,040.00. Bonus payments are part of variable compensation and by nature can vary based on company and individual performance and is not a guarantee.
